Welcome to my new weblog about real estate in central Virginia. I’ve been the renter, the buyer, the seller and the landlord at several properties since coming to Charlottesville in 1995. I try to keep a pretty close eye on what’s happening in the real estate market there. I am excited about the prospect of keeping tabs on that here in this blog. I am very concerned and puzzeled that realtors who list their rental properties never return any phone calls from interested parties. I don’t care if it’s my husband, me or my daughter, no one seems to care enough to return phone calls. Even common decency would be to call and say it’s taken, rather then let people call and call again, leaving endless messages never to be answered. Come on people, be for real.
